Sonorus will take place in Vienna, Virginia at a sweet place called Jammin’ Java. Located not far from Washington, D.C., Jammin’ Java is one of the east coast’s best small venues. Paste Magazine rated them one of the top 40 music venues in America, and they’ve hosted a ton of amazing performers (like Paramore and Bon Iver). We’re thrilled to be adding wizard rock to their illustrious history. It’s not a huge space, but it’s cozy and welcoming, which means you get to be up close and personal with the bands you love.
Tickets for the show are only $20, just enough to cover costs and support the bands that are traveling from all over the country to perform throughout the day. The show is all-ages, so feel free to bring your friends and family.
Parking at the venue is free.
If you’ve been to wizard rock shows in Virginia before, you’ve probably been to the Patrick Henry Public Library. Jammin’ Java is just a couple of blocks down the road – easy to find.

Er… I hate to ask (or acknowledge its existence in any way…) but what about this snow they’re forecasting?

I know the feeling, we’re all just sort of crossing our fingers and hoping for the best right now. VA just got a snowstorm, so there hasn’t been much forecasting for this weekend yet. But I can say that the show will go on regardless of weather, and I really hope it doesn’t mess up anybody’s travel plans. I’ll keep my eye on the weather and keep everyone posted. Thanks for checking in!
