A lot of people seem to be on the fence about coming to Sonorus, so give us a chance to wipe away your worries. Here’s why coming to this show is a brilliant decision:

  • You get to see twelve awesome wizard rock bands. Sing along with your old favorites and fall in love with some new ones. They’re from all over the east coast, so rather than traveling up to NY and down to NC and waiting for bands to tour nearby, you can see everyone in one go. And at $20, you’re paying less than two dollars per band. That’s a steal.
  • You get to spend all day with some of your favorite people. Everybody knows that the wizard rock community is a pretty tight-knit group, and who can pass up a chance to see their fandom family? This is an easy excuse to take a roadtrip with your friends, hang out with people you don’t get to see often enough, and meet new fandom friends. It’s all the joy of a con without the huge time commitment or expense.
  • It’s amazingly cheap for such a big event. We know you’re poor. We are, too. That’s why this show is as cheap as we could get it: $20. That means you can put the rest of your money towards gas, food, and of course band merch. We also worked hard to score unbelievably cheap hotel rooms for anybody that needed a place to crash before or after the show. An $80 hotel room split between four people means that for $20 each, you get bed space and a night hanging out with your friends. So for only $40, you get a day of entertainment and a night of comfort – that’s less than most event tickets cost. How could you pass up such a deal?
